of Rome, Naples and throughout the Amalfi Coast. Today,
Naples is the third largest city in Italy and is situated
in one of the loveliest
natural settings in all of Europe. The city is endowed
with a vast and superb collection of historic
monuments and stunning art collections. The variety
and beauty of the landscape is breathtaking, and
the mild weather with gentle breezes are only some of
the many attractions that draw visitors to Naples from
around the world.
At first you'll visit the most distinctive sights in
town. Then, you will get to see the central section
of the city where the quarters have survived many blazes,
air raids and earthquakes. In spite of these unfortunate
situations, Naples hasn't lost its
picturesque sites and friendly ambience. From the great
Bay of Naples, there are fine views of the
Isles of Capri and Ischia. Here are magical and artistic
monuments that include Castel Nuovo,
Palazzo Reale, Teatro San Carlo, Museo Archeologico
Nazionale, and the Museo and Gallerie
Capodimonte. Additionally, there are many precious churches
in this Campanian province.
Your next stop will be in Pompeii, the city that was
buried by the ash spewed forth from the 79 AD eruption
of Mount Vesuvius. You will be taken on a three hour
walking tour through this
remarkable and most important archeological site in
the world.
