week our guests will be staying in Rome,
Assisi and Florence hotels. From these, you will enjoy
daily excursions in accordance with the following itinerary: |

Day 1: Vatican walking tour
(3 hours)
Our guide will meet you at the
hotel.
In the early afternoon you'll enjoy a 3-hour walking tour
of the
Vatican Museum to discover the Papal Galleries' Art Collection,
Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel, the art treasures of St. Peter's
Basilica as well as the outstanding St. Peter's Square.

Day 2: Rome full day driving
tour (8 hours)
Car will pick you up at
your hotel for a full day car and limited walking tour through
the marvels of the great 17th century Roman structures of both
Bernini and Borromini. We'll then visit Classic and Ancient
Rome to enjoy the highlights for which the city is famous throughout
the world. These sites include the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps,
Via Veneto, Pantheon and the Coliseum. Sightseeing tour will
take you to the main views of the archeological sites of the
Eternal City to experience its symbols of splendor and the historical
memories of ancient Rome. Lunch will be served in a typical
restaurant. Then in the afternoon, your car with the driver-guide
will be at your disposal for sightseeing and time for shopping
if necessary.

Day 3: Full day tour on the
route between Rome and Assisi. (8 hours)
Car pick-up at your hotel.
We'll drive to Orvieto where you'll have free time to visit
the
authentic and beautiful sites of this charming citadel in the
region of Umbria.
Lunch will be served in a typical restaurant. Afterwards, we'll
reach the village of Todi, an
ancient, proud Medieval town that rises up in the midst of lovely,
hilly scenery. From here we'll
drive straight to the city of Assisi which is renown as proof
of the resilience of the Christian
faith. Dinner and overnight in Assisi.
Driving times:
from Rome to Orvieto takes1 hour, to Todi takes 30 minutes,
to Perugia takes 40 minutes, to Assisi takes 20 minutes. |

Day 4: Full day tour on the route between Assisi and Siena. (10 hours)
Car pick-up at your hotel in Assisi.
It is a 3-hour car and walking tour in the immaculate
Medieval town of Assisi with an official guide. This is home
to Italy's patron saint, St. Francis.
We'll then drive to Montepulciano, a beautiful town of Etruscan
origins, set high on a hilltop
overlooking Valdichiana Valley. You will have a local wine tasting
and lunch in a typical
restaurant. Next stop will be in Montalcino, a charming little
walled town beautifully situated
above vines and olive groves. The village is known for its red
wine Brunello, which is one of the finest wines in Tuscany.
Overnight in Siena.
Driving times:
from Assisi to Montepulciano takes 1 hour to Montalcino takes
30 minutes, to Siena takes 45 minutes.

Day 5: Full day tour on the route between Siena and Florence (10 hours)
Car pick-up will be at your
hotel in Siena. You will have a free walking tour in Siena,
the
second most interesting town in Tuscany. Your guide will help
you to form a clear idea of this
lovely city that still preserves its Medieval character to a
remarkable degree. From Siena we'll
drive to Monteriggioni for lunch in a typical restaurant. After
lunch, we'll travel onto San
Gimignano, to enjoy a free visit of this charming citadel with
more than a dozen stone towers. The next stop will be in Florence.
Dinner and overnight in Florence.
Driving times:
from Siena to Monteriggioni takes 30 minutes, to San Gimignano
takes 30 minutes, to Florence takes
50 minutes. |

Day 6: Florence and Chianti area (8 hours)
The car will pick you up
at your hotel in Florence. You will have a 3 hour car and walking
tour with a local guide. Sites will include The Battistero,
Santa Maria del Fiore, Santa Croce,
Piazza della Signoria, and the Ponte Vecchio. You will see the
major highlights in town which will be particularly interesting
for those who have come to Florence for the first time. Lunch
will be served in a typical restaurant.
In the early afternoon we'll have a 3 hour drive to the Chianti
area to experience a wine
tasting in the wine producing region. Overnight in Florence

Day 7: Full day tour on the route between Florence and Rome (10 hours)
Car pick up will be at your
hotel in Florence. We'll drive to Pisa, the beautiful town
standing a few miles from the mouth of the Arno River. The city
is famous for its Cathedral in Piazza del Duomo, the fascinating
Leaning Tower and the Baptistery. There are other 11th century
monuments built when Pisa was a Maritime Republic. Lunch will
be served in a
typical restaurant. We'll then reach Lucca, whose small, beautiful
streets invite many visitors to take strolls. The main Cathedral
represents one of the most splendid examples of Medieval Italian
architecture. We'll be back to Rome in the late afternoon. Overnight
in Rome.
Driving times:
From Florence to Lucca takes 1 hour, to Pisa takes 20 minutes,
to Rome takes 2 hours and 30 minutes.

The tour is for a party of up to 15
