week our guests will be staying three days in Rome and four
days in Positano.

Day 1: Vatican Museum walking
tour - 3 hours
Our guide will meet you at the hotel.
In the early afternoon you will have a 3-hour guided walking
tour of the Vatican Museum.
You will certainly admire the Vatican Galleries' Art Collections,
Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel and the art treasures of St. Peter's
Basilica.

Day 2: Rome
full day driving tour - 8 hours
Car pick up at your hotel. You will
have a full day driving tour through the major
highlights of the city. These include the great 15th century
sites of Renaissance and Classical Rome, and further sightseeing.
Your tour will be conducted through the main sites of the Eternal
City. You will learn about the symbols of the glory and splendor
of ancient Rome. Lunch will be served in a typical restaurant.*
Overnight in Rome.

Day 3: Etruscan
tour - Cerveteri and Tarquinia - 7 hours
The car will pick you up
at your hotel, and then you'll be driven to Cerveteri .
The official guide will be available for your 1 1/2 hour walking
tour through the fascinating necropolises of the Etruscan civilization.
Next stop will be in Tarquinia, where your guide will explain
the history, legends and ancient traditions of the most important
Etruscan settlement in the region of Central Italy. We'll then
visit the Museo Nazionale Tarquinese where there is an interesting
collection of Etruscan artifacts. Lunch will be available in
a typical restaurant. We'll then return to Rome
Overnight in Rome.
Driving times: From Rome to Cerveteri
takes 1 hour. On to Tarquinia takes 45 minutes.

Day 4: Pompeii
and Positano - 10
hours
The car will pick you up
at your hotel.
We'll drive directly to Pompeii where a local guide will escort
you on a 2-hour walking tour. It is a remarkable area and the
most important archeological site in the world. After you have
enjoyed your outstanding experience with the knowledgeable guide
in Pompeii, we'll then drive to Positano. Lunch time will be
served in the region of fine pizza makers.
This tour can include a visit to Sorrento.
Overnight in Positano.
Driving time: From Rome to Pompeii takes
2 hours. To Positano takes 45 minutes.

Day 5:
Amalfi, Ravello and Vietri - 8 hours
Car will pick you up at your hotel
in Positano or Sorrento. We'll drive along the Sorrentina Coast
with spectacular views of the Bay of Naples as well as the Isle
of Capri. Then, we'll be on to Sorrento, incredibly located
atop a tufa rock plateau. Sightseeing will continue in the village.
Then we'll proceed on to Amalfi, which lends its name to the
entire coast on which it lies. Lunch will be served in a typical
restaurant. A short drive will then have us in one of the most
enchanting and fascinating villages, that of Ravello.
The next stop will be in Vietri Sul Mare which is widely known
by the Campanian population for its artisans who create unique
and colorful ceramics.
Overnight in Positano.
Driving time: from Positano to Sorrento
takes 30 minutes. To Amalfi takes 50 minutes.
To Ravello 20 minutes. |

Day 6: Naples
- 7 hours
The car will pick you up at your
hotel in Positano or Sorrento. You will be driven to the city
of Naples, where the superb heritage and remarkable artistic
collections are attractions that draw visitors from all over
the world. You'll have 5 hours with the car and official guide
to visit the central section of the city. There you'll see the
Piazza del Plebiscito, Palazzo Reale, and the Chiesa di St.
Chiara. Additionally, The Museo Archeologico Nazionale contains
the most significant artifact collection in Italy. There is
a variety of interesting churches of the Campanian province.
Lunch will be served in a typical restaurant.
Overnight in Positano.
Driving time: From Positano to Naples
takes 45 minutes. |

Day 7: Paestum temples -
8 hours
You will be picked up at your
hotel in Positano or Sorrento and be driven along the Amalfi
Coast. You will arrive in Paestum, where three stunning yet
solemn temples remain standing. They exemplify the power and
genius of the Greek civilization. Their rough stones embody
the willpower of these people and are a testament to the culture
that designed and constructed them. The city represented the
architectural challenges in a countryside dominated by the
flatness of the sea and horizon.
Overnight in
Positano.
Driving time: from Positano to Paestum
takes1 hour and 40 minutes. Back to Positano, same time.
Transfer on the way back to
Rome the following day.
