This is a 10-hour private transfer-tour of the city jewel of
Tuscany, and of Montepulciano's unforgettable noble wine village.
We'll then return directly to Rome.



Our car will pick you up at your hotel
and take you to Siena, the vibrant capital of
southern Tuscany.
It is the most perfectly preserved Medieval city in Europe. Your trip will take you through
the beautiful Arbia and Orcia River valleys in southern Tuscany. This is an area that is famous for
its rolling hills and wheat fields dotted with red brick farmhouses. Additionally, there are stands
of deep green cypress pines and endless stunning views.
It is also world renown for its fine food and excellent wines. Your lecturer-guide-driver will
point out the highlights of the town's charming and captivating attractions. Piazza del Campo has
been the site of the unique and breathtaking horse race, the Palio. It has been held at this site
for hundreds of years, since Medieval times. You'll also see the charming Duomo of Siena. There will
be time for further sightseeing and shopping. Our next stop will be in Montepulciano, an area in
Tuscany world famous for its local, noble wines. You will have the opportunity to taste these fine
wines. Lunch will be served in a characteristic local trattoria, after which we'll head back to
Rome


The tour is for a party of up to 8 people,
and it includes private car transfers, and a fluent, English speaking tour-manager.


PLEASE NOTE:
Groups from 9 to 14 people will travel in a minibus.
An English speaking escort is highly recommended


DRIVING TIMES:
From Florence to Siena takes 50 minutes.
To Montepulciano takes 1 hour and 40 minutes.
Return to Rome takes 1 hour and 40 minutes.
