You will be picked up at your hotel
and driven to San Gimignano, a high-rise hamlet
that was developed during the Dark Ages.
Here you will see more than a dozen stone towers,
and will have the
opportunity to visit the village.
Next, you will be driven to Siena, the town in
Tuscany that many believe is the most
beautiful. Certainly the most famous site in the city is the Piazza del Campo. This is the location
where the impressive horse race, the Palio, has been held since Medieval times.
The Dome is another beautiful attraction
in this town. You'll have the pleasure of dining* in a wonderful Sienese restaurant.
Sightseeing and shopping will continue.
Then you'll travel back to your hotel in Rome.

The tour is for a party of up to 8 people.
It includes private car transfers and a fluent,
English speaking tour-manager.


DRIVING TIMES:
From Florence to San Gimignano takes
50 minutes. On to Siena takes 45 minutes.
Return to Rome is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
