Siena and the whole area of Tuscany.
You will be driven to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Italy's
most recognized monument after the
Coliseum in Rome. The Tower never ceases to impress
all who visit. Your driver-guide will lay out this
magical city before you.
Piazza dei Miracoli and the Dome are also very impressive
and play a main role from an artistic
point of view. It is here you will notice the renewal
in architecture, sculptures and paintings.
The famous Leaning Tower as well as castles and monasteries,
are all a part of the Florentine
Movement of the Renaissance.
Merely an hour away from Pisa, your driver-guide will
escort you to our next stop, Lucca.
You will see that this quiet town has barely changed
since the 17th century.
Lucca remains filled with countless riches from the
past as it was once an outpost of the early
Roman Empire. Later, it grew into a flourishing Renaissance
town.
After indulging in delicious Lucchese cuisine in a typical
local restaurant, your tour will continue.
Your next stop is where you will discover the marvels
of this enchanting citadel. It is an urban area with
a very ancient origin. It is embellished by Medieval
towers, charming squares, magnificent
Tuscan villas and sumptuous gardens. Additionally, there
are a number of churches that are
surrounded by their ancient fortifications.
The town is rich in art treasures from as far back as
the Etruscan civilization. These include cathedrals,
sculptures, and paintings in the National Museum.
In the afternoon and once your visit has been completed,
your driver-guide will escort you
back to your hotel.
